萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動(dong)效(xiao)率優異，在現代工業領域被廣泛采(cai)用。

SWP十字(zi)萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭(tou)布(bu)局，與SWC十字(zi)萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的場(chang)合(he)相近(jin)，主要(yao)運用(yong)在重載(zai)大型裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采(cai)用整體式叉頭布局，主要用于軋(ya)鋼機(ji)械，起重運(yun)輸(shu)機(ji)械等(deng)其他重型裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑(jing)可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離(li)可達30m以上(shang)，是(shi)運(yun)用相當廣(guang)泛(fan)的萬向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的(de)機泵(beng)在(zai)安裝過程中都不可避免地要(yao)進行同軸度的(de)調整(zheng)，使對(dui)輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵(beng)使用效率或造成設(she)備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)(lai)將不同機(ji)構中的主(zhu)動(dong)(dong)軸(zhou)(zhou)和從動(dong)(dong)軸(zhou)(zhou)牢固(gu)地聯(lian)接起來(lai)(lai)一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動(dong)(dong)和扭(niu)矩的機(ji)械部件。有時也用以聯(lian)接軸(zhou)(zhou)與其(qi)他零件（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪(lun)常由兩半合(he)(he)成，分別用(yong)鍵或緊配合(he)(he)等聯接，緊固在(zai)兩軸端，再(zai)通過某種方式將(jiang)兩半聯接起(qi)來。
