萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效(xiao)率優異，在現代工(gong)業領(ling)域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用(yong)剖分(fen)式叉頭布局，與SWC十(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)使(shi)用(yong)的場(chang)合相(xiang)近(jin)，主要運用(yong)在重載大型(xing)裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑(jing)可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器采用整(zheng)體式叉(cha)頭布局，主要用于軋(ya)鋼(gang)機械(xie)(xie)，起重運輸機械(xie)(xie)等其他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳(chuan)遞(di)距離可達30m以(yi)上，是運用相當廣泛的萬向聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機(ji)泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要(yao)進行(xing)同(tong)(tong)軸度的(de)調(diao)整，使對(dui)輪既同(tong)(tong)心又平行(xing)，否則將影響(xiang)機(ji)泵使用(yong)效率或造(zao)成設備運行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將不同(tong)機構中的主動(dong)軸和從動(dong)軸牢固地聯接起(qi)來(lai)一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動(dong)和扭矩的機械部件。有時也用以聯接軸與其他零(ling)件（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩半合(he)成，分別用鍵或(huo)緊配合(he)等聯(lian)接，緊固在兩軸端(duan)，再通過某種方(fang)式將兩半聯(lian)接起來。

靠背(bei)輪聯軸(zhou)器(qi)可(ke)兼(jian)有(you)補償兩軸(zhou)之間(jian)由(you)于制造安裝不(bu)精確、工(gong)作時(shi)的變形或熱膨(peng)脹等原因(yin)所(suo)發生的偏移(yi)(yi)（包括(kuo)軸(zhou)向(xiang)偏移(yi)(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏移(yi)(yi)、角偏移(yi)(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。
