萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載(zai)能力高，傳動(dong)效率(lv)優異，在現代工(gong)業(ye)領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖(pou)分(fen)式叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器使(shi)用(yong)的場合相近，主要運用(yong)在(zai)重(zhong)載大型裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯(lian)(lian)軸(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)整體(ti)式叉頭(tou)布局(ju)，主要(yao)用(yong)于(yu)軋(ya)鋼機(ji)械(xie)(xie)，起重運(yun)(yun)輸機(ji)械(xie)(xie)等其他(ta)重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳遞距離可達(da)30m以上，是運(yun)(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛的萬(wan)向聯(lian)(lian)軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機(ji)泵(beng)在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進(jin)行同軸度的(de)調整，使對(dui)輪(lun)既同心又平(ping)行，否(fou)則將影響機(ji)泵(beng)使用效率或(huo)造(zao)成(cheng)設備運行事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不(bu)同(tong)機構中的主(zhu)動軸和從動軸牢固地聯接起來一同(tong)旋轉，并(bing)傳遞運動和扭(niu)矩(ju)的機械部件。有時也用以聯接軸與其他零(ling)件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半(ban)合(he)(he)成，分別用(yong)鍵或緊配(pei)合(he)(he)等聯接(jie)，緊固(gu)在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某種(zhong)方(fang)式將兩(liang)半(ban)聯接(jie)起來(lai)。
