SWP十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸器采用剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與SWC十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸器使用的場(chang)合相近，主要運用在(zai)重載大(da)型裝備領域(yu)，回(hui)轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用整體式叉頭布(bu)局，主要用于(yu)軋(ya)鋼(gang)機械，起重運輸機械等其(qi)他(ta)重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)到(dao)1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳遞(di)距離可(ke)達30m以上，是運用相(xiang)當廣泛的萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的機泵在(zai)安裝過程中都不可避免(mian)地要進行(xing)同軸度的調整(zheng)，使對(dui)輪既(ji)同心又平行(xing)，否則(ze)將(jiang)影響(xiang)機泵使用效率(lv)或造成設備運行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構中的主(zhu)動軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)和從(cong)動軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)牢固(gu)地聯接(jie)(jie)起來一(yi)同旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動和扭矩(ju)的機械部(bu)件(jian)。有時(shi)也用以聯接(jie)(jie)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)與其(qi)他零件(jian)（如齒輪、帶輪等(deng)）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合(he)成(cheng)，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配(pei)合(he)等聯(lian)接，緊(jin)固在(zai)兩(liang)軸端(duan)，再通過某種方式將兩(liang)半聯(lian)接起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯(lian)軸器可兼有補償兩(liang)軸之(zhi)間由于制造安裝不精(jing)確(que)、工作時的變形或熱膨脹(zhang)等原因所發生(sheng)的偏移（包括(kuo)軸向偏移、徑向偏移、角偏移或綜(zong)合偏移）；以及(ji)緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。
