SWP十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖分(fen)式(shi)叉頭布局(ju)，與SWC十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的場合相近，主要運(yun)用(yong)在重載大型裝備領域(yu)，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)(qi)采(cai)用(yong)整體式叉頭布局，主要(yao)用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重運(yun)輸機械等(deng)其他重型裝備(bei)領域(yu)，回轉直(zhi)徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳遞距離可(ke)達30m以(yi)上，是(shi)運(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛的萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接的機泵(beng)在安(an)裝過(guo)程中都(dou)不可避免地要進(jin)行同軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同心又平(ping)行，否則將影響機泵(beng)使(shi)用(yong)效率或造(zao)成(cheng)設備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同(tong)機構中的主(zhu)動(dong)(dong)軸和(he)從動(dong)(dong)軸牢固地聯接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋(xuan)轉，并傳遞運(yun)動(dong)(dong)和(he)扭矩(ju)的機械部件。有時也(ye)用以聯接(jie)軸與其他(ta)零件（如(ru)齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等(deng)）。

靠(kao)背輪常由(you)兩(liang)半合成，分別用(yong)鍵或(huo)緊配(pei)合等聯接，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某種方(fang)式將兩(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背(bei)輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之間由于制造安裝不精確(que)、工作時的變形或(huo)熱膨脹等(deng)原(yuan)因所發生(sheng)的偏移(yi)（包(bao)括軸(zhou)向偏移(yi)、徑向偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或(huo)綜合偏移(yi)）；以及緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振。
