萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優(you)異(yi)，在現代工(gong)業領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖分(fen)式叉頭布局(ju)，與SWC十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的場合相(xiang)近，主要運用(yong)在(zai)重載大(da)型(xing)裝備領域(yu)，回轉直(zhi)徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯軸器采用整(zheng)體(ti)式(shi)叉(cha)頭布局，主(zhu)要用于軋鋼機械(xie)，起重(zhong)運(yun)輸(shu)機械(xie)等其他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回(hui)轉直徑可(ke)到(dao)1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳遞距(ju)離可(ke)達30m以(yi)上，是(shi)運(yun)用相當廣泛的(de)萬向(xiang)聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的(de)機(ji)泵在安裝(zhuang)過程中都(dou)不(bu)可避免地要進行同(tong)軸度的(de)調整，使對輪既同(tong)心又(you)平(ping)行，否則將影響機(ji)泵使用效率(lv)或造成(cheng)設備運行事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機(ji)構中的主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢固地(di)聯接(jie)起(qi)來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的機(ji)械(xie)部件(jian)。有時也用以聯接(jie)軸(zhou)與其他零(ling)件(jian)（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等(deng)）。

靠背(bei)輪常由兩半合(he)成，分別用鍵或緊配合(he)等聯接(jie)，緊固(gu)在兩軸端，再通(tong)過某種方式將兩半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制(zhi)造(zao)安裝不精確(que)、工作時(shi)的(de)變形或熱(re)膨(peng)脹(zhang)等原因所(suo)發生(sheng)的(de)偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移（包括軸向偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移、徑(jing)向偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移或綜合偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移）；以及(ji)緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振。
