The plum-shaped flexible coupling is composed of two semi-couplings with convex claws and a plum-shaped flexible non-metallic element whose hardness can be adjusted. By embedding the plum-shaped flexible element into the two semi-couplings to realize the connection, plum couplings has the characteristics of compensating the relative displacement of the two axes, reducing vibration and buffering, simple structure and easy maintenance without lubrication.

輪胎式聯軸器缺點是承載(zai)能力(li)(li)不高、外形尺寸(cun)較大,隨著兩軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)相對扭轉角的增加使(shi)輪(lun)胎(tai)(tai)外形扭歪,軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向(xiang)尺寸(cun)略有減小,將在兩軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)上產生較大的附加軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向(xiang)力(li)(li),使(shi)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)承負載(zai)加大而降低壽命。輪(lun)胎(tai)(tai)聯軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)高速運轉時,輪(lun)胎(tai)(tai)外緣由于離心力(li)(li)的作(zuo)用而向(xiang)外擴張,將進一步增大附加軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向(xiang)力(li)(li)。為此,在安裝聯軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)時應(ying)采(cai)取(qu)措(cuo)施,使(shi)輪(lun)胎(tai)(tai)中(zhong)的應(ying)力(li)(li)方向(xiang)與工(gong)作(zuo)時產生的應(ying)力(li)(li)方向(xiang)相反,以抵消部分(fen)附加軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向(xiang)力(li)(li),達到改善(shan)聯軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)和兩軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)承的工(gong)和條(tiao)件。
輪(lun)胎式聯軸(zhou)器(qi)由于種種原因使其(qi)質心(xin)(xin)或(huo)慣性主(zhu)軸(zhou)與(yu)其(qi)加(jia)轉軸(zhou)線(xian)不(bu)(bu)重合,在運轉時將產生不(bu)(bu)平衡(heng)(heng)離(li)心(xin)(xin)慣性力、離(li)心(xin)(xin)慣性力偶和(he)動(dong)撓(nao)度(振(zhen)型)的(de)現象,稱為轉子的(de)不(bu)(bu)平衡(heng)(heng)現象,這種不(bu)(bu)平衡(heng)(heng)現象必然(ran)引起軸(zhou)系(xi)的(de)振(zhen)動(dong),從(cong)而(er)影響機器(qi)的(de)正常工作和(he)使用壽命,因而(er)對其(qi)必須加(jia)以重視。
