萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載(zai)能力高，傳動效率優異(yi)，在(zai)現代工業(ye)領域被廣泛(fan)采(cai)用。

SWP十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器采(cai)用(yong)(yong)剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器使用(yong)(yong)的場合相近，主要運用(yong)(yong)在(zai)重載大(da)型裝(zhuang)備領(ling)域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)(qi)采用整體(ti)式(shi)叉頭(tou)布局，主要用于(yu)軋鋼機(ji)械(xie)(xie)，起重運輸機(ji)械(xie)(xie)等其他重型裝備領(ling)域，回轉直徑可到(dao)1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以(yi)上，是運用相當(dang)廣泛的萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中都不(bu)可避免(mian)地(di)要進行同軸度的調整，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影(ying)響(xiang)機泵使用(yong)效率(lv)或造成設(she)備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不(bu)同(tong)機(ji)構中的主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢固地聯接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的機(ji)械部(bu)件(jian)(jian)。有時(shi)也用以(yi)聯接(jie)軸(zhou)與其(qi)他(ta)零件(jian)(jian)（如齒輪、帶(dai)輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪常由兩(liang)(liang)半合(he)成，分別用鍵或緊配合(he)等(deng)聯(lian)接(jie)，緊固(gu)在兩(liang)(liang)軸端，再通過某(mou)種方式將兩(liang)(liang)半聯(lian)接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩(liang)軸之間由于制造安裝不(bu)精確、工(gong)作時(shi)的(de)變形或熱膨脹等原(yuan)因所發(fa)生的(de)偏移(yi)（包(bao)括軸向(xiang)偏移(yi)、徑(jing)向(xiang)偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或綜合(he)偏移(yi)）；以及緩(huan)和(he)沖擊、吸(xi)振。
