萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高(gao)，傳動效率優異(yi)，在現(xian)代工業領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字萬向(xiang)聯軸器(qi)采用(yong)剖分(fen)式(shi)叉(cha)頭(tou)布局(ju)，與(yu)SWC十(shi)字萬向(xiang)聯軸器(qi)使用(yong)的(de)場(chang)合相近，主要(yao)運用(yong)在重載大(da)型(xing)裝備領域(yu)，回轉直徑(jing)可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)整體式叉頭布局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)(ji)械，起(qi)重運輸機(ji)(ji)械等其他重型裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑(jing)可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳(chuan)遞距離可(ke)達(da)30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛的(de)萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機泵在安裝過程中(zhong)都(dou)不可(ke)避(bi)免地要進行(xing)(xing)同軸度的(de)調整(zheng)，使對輪(lun)既同心又平行(xing)(xing)，否則將(jiang)影響機泵使用效率或造(zao)成設備運行(xing)(xing)事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機(ji)構中(zhong)的(de)主動軸和從動軸牢固地聯(lian)接(jie)起來一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和扭矩的(de)機(ji)械部(bu)件。有時也用以聯(lian)接(jie)軸與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪常由(you)兩(liang)半(ban)合成，分別用鍵(jian)或緊(jin)配合等(deng)聯接(jie)，緊(jin)固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某(mou)種方式(shi)將兩(liang)半(ban)聯接(jie)起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸(zhou)器(qi)可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之(zhi)間(jian)由于(yu)制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形或熱(re)膨脹等原因所發生的偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)）；以及(ji)緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振。
