萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優異，在現代工業領域被廣泛采(cai)用。

SWP十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)剖分式叉頭布局(ju)，與SWC十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)使用(yong)的(de)場合相近，主要運用(yong)在重(zhong)載大(da)型裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸器采用整(zheng)體式叉頭布局(ju)，主要(yao)用于(yu)軋鋼機(ji)械，起重運輸機(ji)械等其他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用相當廣泛(fan)的萬(wan)向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機(ji)泵在安裝過程中都不可避免(mian)地要進行(xing)同軸度的調整，使對輪(lun)既同心又平行(xing)，否(fou)則將影響機(ji)泵使用效(xiao)率或造成設備(bei)運(yun)行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將不同機構中(zhong)的(de)主(zhu)動軸和從動軸牢固地聯(lian)接(jie)起來(lai)一同旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的(de)機械部件。有時也用以(yi)聯(lian)接(jie)軸與其他零件（如(ru)齒(chi)輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背(bei)輪常(chang)由兩半合成(cheng)，分別用鍵或緊配(pei)合等聯接，緊固(gu)在兩軸端，再通過某(mou)種(zhong)方式將兩半聯接起來。
