萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力高，傳動(dong)效率優異，在現代工(gong)業領域被廣泛采(cai)用(yong)。

SWP十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與(yu)SWC十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器使用的場(chang)合相近，主要(yao)運用在重載大(da)型裝備領域(yu)，回轉直徑(jing)可達1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬向聯(lian)軸器采用(yong)整體式(shi)叉頭布(bu)局，主要(yao)用(yong)于(yu)軋(ya)鋼機械(xie)，起重(zhong)運輸(shu)機械(xie)等(deng)其他重(zhong)型(xing)裝備領(ling)域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可(ke)達30m以上(shang)，是運用(yong)相當廣(guang)泛的萬向聯(lian)軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安裝過(guo)程(cheng)中都不可避免地要進行同軸度的調整，使對輪既同心又平行，否(fou)則將影響(xiang)機泵(beng)使用效率(lv)或造(zao)成設備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)(lai)將不同(tong)機(ji)構中的主(zhu)動(dong)(dong)軸和(he)從動(dong)(dong)軸牢(lao)固地聯接起來(lai)(lai)一同(tong)旋(xuan)轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動(dong)(dong)和(he)扭矩的機(ji)械(xie)部(bu)件。有時也(ye)用以聯接軸與(yu)其他零件（如齒輪、帶(dai)輪等）。

靠背輪(lun)常由(you)兩(liang)半(ban)合(he)成，分別用(yong)鍵(jian)或緊配(pei)合(he)等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)軸(zhou)端，再通(tong)過某種方式將(jiang)兩(liang)半(ban)聯接(jie)起來。

靠(kao)背輪(lun)聯(lian)軸器(qi)可兼(jian)有補償兩(liang)軸之間由于制造安裝(zhuang)不精確、工作時的變形或熱(re)膨脹(zhang)等(deng)原因(yin)所發生的偏移(yi)（包括軸向偏移(yi)、徑向偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)）；以及緩和(he)沖擊、吸振。
