萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能(neng)力高，傳動效率(lv)優異，在現(xian)代工業領域(yu)被(bei)廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用(yong)剖分(fen)式叉頭布(bu)局(ju)，與SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)使用(yong)的場合相近，主要運用(yong)在重(zhong)載大(da)型(xing)裝(zhuang)備領域(yu)，回轉直徑(jing)可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯軸器采用(yong)整體式叉頭布局，主(zhu)要(yao)用(yong)于軋(ya)鋼(gang)機(ji)械，起重運輸(shu)機(ji)械等其他(ta)重型裝(zhuang)備領域，回(hui)轉(zhuan)直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭(niu)矩(ju)傳(chuan)遞距(ju)離可(ke)達(da)30m以上，是運用(yong)相(xiang)當廣(guang)泛的萬向(xiang)聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的機(ji)泵在安裝過程(cheng)中都不(bu)可避免地要進行同軸度(du)的調整，使(shi)對輪既同心又平行，否則將(jiang)影響機(ji)泵使(shi)用效率或造成設備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將(jiang)不同(tong)機構中(zhong)的主動軸(zhou)(zhou)和(he)從動軸(zhou)(zhou)牢固地聯接(jie)起來(lai)一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動和(he)扭(niu)矩的機械(xie)部件。有時也(ye)用以(yi)聯接(jie)軸(zhou)(zhou)與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背(bei)輪常由兩(liang)半合成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊配(pei)合等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某(mou)種方式(shi)將兩(liang)半聯接(jie)起(qi)來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器可兼有(you)補償兩軸(zhou)(zhou)之間由于制造安裝不精確(que)、工作時的變形(xing)或熱膨脹等(deng)原(yuan)因所發生的偏移(yi)（包括軸(zhou)(zhou)向(xiang)偏移(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)）；以及(ji)緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。
