SWP十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器采用(yong)(yong)剖分(fen)式(shi)叉頭(tou)布局，與(yu)SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器使用(yong)(yong)的場合(he)相近(jin)，主要運用(yong)(yong)在重載大(da)型裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸器采(cai)用(yong)整(zheng)體式(shi)叉頭布局，主要用(yong)于(yu)軋鋼機(ji)械，起重(zhong)運輸機(ji)械等其他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距(ju)離可達30m以上，是(shi)運用(yong)相當廣泛的萬(wan)向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機(ji)(ji)泵在安裝(zhuang)過程(cheng)中都不可(ke)避免地要進行(xing)同軸度的(de)調整，使對輪(lun)既同心(xin)又(you)平行(xing)，否則將影響(xiang)機(ji)(ji)泵使用效(xiao)率或(huo)造成設備運(yun)行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將不同機構中的主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地聯接起(qi)來(lai)一(yi)同旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭(niu)矩(ju)的機械部件(jian)。有時也用(yong)以聯接軸(zhou)與其他零件(jian)（如(ru)齒輪(lun)(lun)、帶輪(lun)(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合成，分別用鍵(jian)或緊配(pei)合等(deng)聯接(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通(tong)過某種(zhong)方式將兩(liang)半聯接(jie)起(qi)來。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之間由于制造安(an)裝不精確(que)、工作時的變形或熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發生(sheng)的偏(pian)移（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移、徑向偏(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)移或綜合(he)偏(pian)移）；以及(ji)緩和(he)沖(chong)擊、吸振(zhen)。
