彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結(jie)構緊(jin)湊，傳遞扭矩大，使用壽命長，免維護，耐高(gao)溫(wen)，耐酸堿防(fang)腐蝕，適用于高(gao)溫(wen)高(gao)速及有(you)腐蝕工況(kuang)環境(jing)的軸系傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將(jiang)不同(tong)機構中的主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從(cong)動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地聯接起來一同(tong)旋轉(zhuan)，并傳(chuan)遞運(yun)動(dong)和扭矩的機械部件。有時也用以聯接軸(zhou)與其他零(ling)件（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪(lun)常由兩半合成，分別用鍵或緊配合等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩軸端，再通(tong)過某(mou)種方式將(jiang)兩半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩(liang)軸之間由于制造(zao)安裝不精確、工作時的變形或熱膨脹(zhang)等原(yuan)因所(suo)發(fa)生的偏(pian)移（包括(kuo)軸向(xiang)偏(pian)移、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)移、角偏(pian)移或綜合偏(pian)移）；以(yi)及緩和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。

靠背輪(lun)為俗稱，專業叫法(fa)為聯軸器以及法(fa)蘭，用(yong)于機械設備的連(lian)接。
