萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力(li)高，傳(chuan)動效率優異，在現代工業(ye)領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯(lian)(lian)軸器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭(tou)布局，與SWC十字萬向聯(lian)(lian)軸器使(shi)用(yong)的場合相近，主(zhu)要運用(yong)在重載大型裝(zhuang)備領(ling)域，回(hui)轉直徑(jing)可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用(yong)整體式叉頭(tou)布局(ju)，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等其他(ta)重型裝備領域(yu)，回轉(zhuan)直(zhi)徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳(chuan)遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛的萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機(ji)泵在安裝過(guo)程(cheng)中都不(bu)可避免地要進行(xing)同軸(zhou)度的(de)調整，使(shi)對輪既同心又平(ping)行(xing)，否則將影響機(ji)泵使(shi)用效率(lv)或造成(cheng)設備運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將(jiang)不(bu)同(tong)機構中的主動(dong)軸和(he)從動(dong)軸牢固地聯接起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和(he)扭矩的機械(xie)部件。有時也用(yong)以聯接軸與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背(bei)輪常由兩(liang)(liang)半(ban)合成，分別用鍵或(huo)緊配合等聯接(jie)，緊固在(zai)兩(liang)(liang)軸端，再通(tong)過某種方式將兩(liang)(liang)半(ban)聯接(jie)起來。

靠背(bei)輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼有補償(chang)兩軸(zhou)之間(jian)由(you)于制造(zao)安裝不(bu)精確、工作(zuo)時的變形或熱膨脹等原(yuan)因所發生的偏(pian)移(yi)（包(bao)括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)、徑(jing)向偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和(he)沖擊、吸(xi)振。
