萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動(dong)效率(lv)優異(yi)，在現(xian)代工業領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯軸器采用剖分(fen)式叉頭布(bu)局，與SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯軸器使用的場(chang)合相近，主要運用在重載大(da)型(xing)裝備領域(yu)，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬向聯(lian)軸器采用(yong)整(zheng)體式叉頭布局，主要(yao)用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)械(xie)，起重運輸機(ji)械(xie)等其他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛(fan)的萬向聯(lian)軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安(an)裝過程中都不可避免地(di)要(yao)進行同軸(zhou)度的調整，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵(beng)使用效率或造成設備(bei)運行事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)(yong)來將不同(tong)機(ji)構中(zhong)的(de)主動(dong)軸和(he)從動(dong)軸牢固地聯接起(qi)來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動(dong)和(he)扭矩(ju)的(de)機(ji)械部件。有時也(ye)用(yong)(yong)以聯接軸與(yu)其他零(ling)件（如齒輪(lun)(lun)、帶輪(lun)(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合(he)成，分別(bie)用鍵或(huo)緊配合(he)等聯(lian)接，緊固在(zai)兩(liang)軸端，再通過某種方式(shi)將兩(liang)半聯(lian)接起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸(zhou)器可(ke)兼(jian)有補償兩(liang)軸(zhou)之間由于制(zhi)造安裝不精確、工作時的(de)變(bian)形或熱膨脹等原因所發(fa)生(sheng)的(de)偏移(yi)(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向偏移(yi)(yi)、徑向偏移(yi)(yi)、角偏移(yi)(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
