萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載(zai)能力高，傳動效率優異，在現代工(gong)業領域被廣泛(fan)采用。

SWP十(shi)字(zi)萬向聯軸器采用(yong)剖分(fen)式叉(cha)頭(tou)布局，與(yu)SWC十(shi)字(zi)萬向聯軸器使(shi)用(yong)的場(chang)合(he)相近，主要運用(yong)在重(zhong)載(zai)大型裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可(ke)達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器(qi)采用整體式叉頭布局，主要用于軋鋼(gang)機械，起(qi)重(zhong)運(yun)輸機械等其他重(zhong)型(xing)裝(zhuang)備領域，回(hui)轉(zhuan)直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運(yun)用相當廣泛的萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝(zhuang)過程中都不可避免地要進行(xing)同軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同心又平行(xing)，否則(ze)將影響機泵使(shi)用效率或造成設(she)備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同(tong)機(ji)構中的主動軸和從動軸牢固(gu)地(di)聯接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的機(ji)械部件。有時也用以聯接(jie)軸與其他零件（如齒(chi)輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)(liang)(liang)半合成，分(fen)別用鍵或緊配(pei)合等聯接，緊固(gu)在(zai)兩(liang)(liang)(liang)軸端，再通(tong)過某種方式將兩(liang)(liang)(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器可(ke)兼有補償兩軸(zhou)(zhou)之(zhi)間由于制造安裝(zhuang)不精確、工作(zuo)時的變(bian)形或熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發(fa)生的偏(pian)移（包括軸(zhou)(zhou)向偏(pian)移、徑向偏(pian)移、角偏(pian)移或綜合偏(pian)移）；以(yi)及緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。
