萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載(zai)能力(li)高，傳(chuan)動效率(lv)優異，在現代工(gong)業領域被廣泛(fan)采用。

SWP十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器(qi)采用剖分(fen)式叉頭(tou)布局，與SWC十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器(qi)使用的場合相近，主(zhu)要運用在(zai)重載大(da)型(xing)裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯軸器采用(yong)整體式叉頭布局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)運輸(shu)機械等其他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回(hui)轉(zhuan)直(zhi)徑(jing)可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相(xiang)當(dang)廣泛的萬(wan)向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機(ji)泵在安裝過程中都不(bu)可避免地(di)要(yao)進行同(tong)軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同(tong)心又平行，否則將(jiang)影響機(ji)泵使(shi)用效率或造成設備運(yun)行事(shi)故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機(ji)構(gou)中的(de)主動(dong)(dong)軸(zhou)(zhou)和從(cong)動(dong)(dong)軸(zhou)(zhou)牢固地聯接起來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)(dong)和扭矩的(de)機(ji)械部件(jian)。有時也用以聯接軸(zhou)(zhou)與其他零件(jian)（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等(deng)）。

靠(kao)背輪常由(you)兩半(ban)合成(cheng)，分別(bie)用鍵或緊配合等聯接，緊固(gu)在兩軸端(duan)，再通過某種(zhong)方式將兩半(ban)聯接起來(lai)。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之(zhi)間由于(yu)制造安(an)裝不精確、工作時(shi)的(de)變形或熱(re)膨脹等原因所發生的(de)偏(pian)移(yi)（包(bao)括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊(ji)、吸振。
