SWP十(shi)字(zi)萬向聯軸器(qi)采用(yong)剖分式叉(cha)頭布局，與SWC十(shi)字(zi)萬向聯軸器(qi)使用(yong)的(de)場合相近(jin)，主要運用(yong)在重載大型(xing)裝備領域，回轉直徑(jing)可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸器采用(yong)整體式叉(cha)頭布局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼(gang)機械(xie)，起(qi)重運輸(shu)機械(xie)等其他重型(xing)裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳遞距離可達30m以上(shang)，是運用(yong)相(xiang)當廣泛的萬向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中都(dou)不可避(bi)免地要進(jin)行(xing)同軸度的調(diao)整，使(shi)對輪既同心又平行(xing)，否(fou)則將影響(xiang)機泵使(shi)用效率(lv)或(huo)造(zao)成(cheng)設(she)備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同(tong)機構(gou)中的(de)主(zhu)動(dong)(dong)(dong)軸和(he)從動(dong)(dong)(dong)軸牢固地(di)聯接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動(dong)(dong)(dong)和(he)扭矩(ju)的(de)機械(xie)部件。有時也(ye)用(yong)以聯接(jie)軸與(yu)其他零件（如(ru)齒輪、帶(dai)輪等(deng)）。

靠背輪常(chang)由兩半(ban)合(he)成，分別用鍵或緊配合(he)等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩軸端，再通過某種方式將兩半(ban)聯接(jie)起(qi)來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼(jian)有補償兩軸之(zhi)間由于制造安(an)裝不精確、工作時的變形或(huo)熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發生的偏移（包括軸向偏移、徑向偏移、角(jiao)偏移或(huo)綜(zong)合(he)偏移）；以及緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振。
