萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載(zai)能(neng)力高，傳動(dong)效率優異，在現代工業領(ling)域(yu)被廣泛(fan)采用。

SWP十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用剖(pou)分式叉頭(tou)布局，與SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器使用的(de)場(chang)合相近，主要(yao)運用在重載(zai)大型裝備(bei)領(ling)域，回轉直(zhi)徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器采用整體(ti)式叉頭布局，主要(yao)用于(yu)軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)運輸(shu)機械等(deng)其他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離(li)可(ke)達30m以上，是運用相當廣泛的萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中(zhong)都不(bu)可避免地要進行同軸度的調(diao)整，使對輪既同心又平(ping)行，否則將影響機泵使用效率(lv)或造成設備運行事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將(jiang)不同(tong)機(ji)構(gou)中的主動軸和(he)從動軸牢固地聯接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋(xuan)轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運(yun)動和(he)扭(niu)矩的機(ji)械部件(jian)(jian)。有時也(ye)用(yong)以聯接(jie)軸與其他零(ling)件(jian)(jian)（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪常(chang)由兩(liang)半(ban)合成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊(jin)配(pei)合等聯(lian)接，緊(jin)固在兩(liang)軸(zhou)端，再通過某種方式將兩(liang)半(ban)聯(lian)接起來。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器可(ke)兼有補(bu)償兩軸(zhou)(zhou)之間(jian)由于(yu)制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形或(huo)熱膨脹等原(yuan)因所發生的偏移（包括軸(zhou)(zhou)向偏移、徑(jing)向偏移、角偏移或(huo)綜合偏移）；以(yi)及緩和沖擊、吸振。
