萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載(zai)能力高(gao)，傳動效率優異，在現(xian)代工業領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭(tou)布(bu)局，與SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的場合相近，主要運用(yong)在重載大型裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向(xiang)(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)整體式叉頭(tou)布(bu)局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼(gang)機(ji)械(xie)，起重(zhong)運(yun)輸機(ji)械(xie)等其他重(zhong)型裝備領(ling)域，回轉直徑可到(dao)1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳遞距(ju)離可達30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛(fan)的萬向(xiang)(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免(mian)地要進行同軸(zhou)度的調整，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造成設備(bei)運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機(ji)構中(zhong)的主動(dong)軸和從(cong)動(dong)軸牢固地聯接起來一同旋(xuan)轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩的機(ji)械部件。有時也用以聯接軸與其他零件（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由(you)兩半(ban)合成，分(fen)別(bie)用鍵(jian)或緊配(pei)合等聯(lian)接(jie)，緊固(gu)在兩軸端，再通過某種方式將兩半(ban)聯(lian)接(jie)起來。

靠背(bei)輪聯軸器(qi)可(ke)兼(jian)有補償兩軸之間由(you)于制(zhi)造安裝(zhuang)不精確、工作時(shi)的變形或熱膨脹等原因所發生的偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移（包(bao)括軸向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移、角偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移或綜(zong)合偏(pian)(pian)(pian)移）；以及緩(huan)和沖(chong)擊、吸振。
