萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力(li)高，傳動效率優異，在(zai)現(xian)代工業領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采(cai)用(yong)剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的場(chang)合(he)相近，主要(yao)運(yun)用(yong)在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用整體式叉頭(tou)布(bu)局(ju)，主(zhu)要用于軋鋼機械(xie)，起重運輸機械(xie)等其(qi)他(ta)重型(xing)裝(zhuang)備領域(yu)，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳遞距離可達30m以(yi)上(shang)，是運用相當廣泛的萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機泵在安裝過程中都不可(ke)避免(mian)地(di)要(yao)進行同軸度的(de)調整，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造成設(she)備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)(lai)將不同(tong)機構中(zhong)的(de)主動(dong)軸和從動(dong)軸牢固(gu)地聯接起來(lai)(lai)一同(tong)旋轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭(niu)矩的(de)機械部件(jian)。有時也用(yong)以聯接軸與其他(ta)零件(jian)（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由(you)兩半合成，分(fen)別用鍵(jian)或緊配合等聯接，緊固在兩軸(zhou)端，再通過(guo)某種方式將兩半聯接起來。
