萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載(zai)能力高，傳動效率優異，在現(xian)代工業領域被廣(guang)泛采用(yong)。

SWP十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與SWC十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器(qi)使用的場合相近(jin)，主(zhu)要運用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直(zhi)徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用(yong)整體(ti)式(shi)叉(cha)頭(tou)布局，主(zhu)要用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)(zhong)運(yun)輸機械等其(qi)他重(zhong)(zhong)型裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距(ju)離可(ke)達30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當(dang)廣泛的萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地(di)要進行(xing)同軸(zhou)度的調整，使對(dui)輪既同心又平行(xing)，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造(zao)成設備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機(ji)構(gou)中(zhong)的(de)主動軸和(he)從動軸牢固(gu)地聯接(jie)起來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動和(he)扭矩(ju)的(de)機(ji)械部件。有時也用以聯接(jie)軸與(yu)其他零(ling)件（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩半(ban)合成，分(fen)別用鍵(jian)或緊配合等聯接，緊固在(zai)兩軸端，再通過某(mou)種方式(shi)將兩半(ban)聯接起來。
