SWP十(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器采(cai)用剖(pou)分式(shi)叉頭(tou)布局(ju)，與SWC十(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器使(shi)用的(de)場合相近(jin)，主要運(yun)用在重載大型裝備領域，回(hui)轉(zhuan)直徑可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸器采用整體式叉頭布(bu)局，主要用于軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)運輸(shu)機械等其(qi)他重(zhong)型(xing)裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳(chuan)遞距離可達30m以上，是運用相當廣泛的萬向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安裝過程(cheng)中都不可避免地要進行同軸度的調整，使(shi)(shi)對輪既同心又平行，否(fou)則將影響機泵(beng)使(shi)(shi)用效率或造(zao)成設備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不(bu)同(tong)機(ji)構中的(de)主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢(lao)固地聯(lian)接(jie)起來一(yi)同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩的(de)機(ji)械部件。有(you)時(shi)也用以聯(lian)接(jie)軸(zhou)與(yu)其他零件（如(ru)齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等(deng)）。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪常由(you)兩(liang)半合(he)(he)成，分別用鍵或(huo)緊配合(he)(he)等聯(lian)接，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某(mou)種方(fang)式將兩(liang)半聯(lian)接起(qi)來。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之間由于制造安裝不(bu)精確、工(gong)作時(shi)的(de)變形或(huo)熱膨脹等原(yuan)因所發生的(de)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)或(huo)綜(zong)合偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)）；以及(ji)緩和沖(chong)擊、吸振。
