彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊(jin)湊，傳遞扭矩大，使用壽命長，免(mian)維護，耐高(gao)溫，耐酸(suan)堿防腐蝕，適(shi)用于高(gao)溫高(gao)速及有腐蝕工況(kuang)環境的軸(zhou)系傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同(tong)機(ji)構(gou)中的(de)主動(dong)軸和從(cong)動(dong)軸牢固地(di)聯接(jie)起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩的(de)機(ji)械部件(jian)。有(you)時也用(yong)以聯接(jie)軸與(yu)其他(ta)零件(jian)（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪(lun)常由(you)兩半合成，分別(bie)用鍵(jian)或緊(jin)配合等聯(lian)(lian)接(jie)，緊(jin)固在兩軸端，再通過(guo)某種(zhong)方式(shi)將兩半聯(lian)(lian)接(jie)起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)器可(ke)兼(jian)有補償兩軸(zhou)(zhou)之間(jian)由于制造(zao)安裝不(bu)精確、工作時的(de)變形(xing)或熱(re)膨脹等(deng)原(yuan)因所發生(sheng)的(de)偏(pian)移(yi)（包括(kuo)軸(zhou)(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以(yi)及緩和(he)沖(chong)擊、吸(xi)振。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪(lun)為俗稱，專業叫法(fa)為聯(lian)軸器以及法(fa)蘭，用(yong)于機械設備(bei)的(de)連接。
