萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高(gao)，傳動效率優異，在現代工業領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用剖分式叉(cha)頭(tou)布局，與SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)使用的場合相近，主要運(yun)用在(zai)重載大(da)型裝備(bei)領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用整(zheng)體式叉頭布(bu)局，主要用于軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)運輸機械等其他(ta)重(zhong)型裝備領(ling)域(yu)，回轉直徑(jing)可(ke)到(dao)1600mm，扭矩傳遞距(ju)離可(ke)達30m以上(shang)，是(shi)運用相當(dang)廣(guang)泛的萬向聯(lian)軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在(zai)安裝過程中都不可避免地要進(jin)行同軸度的調整(zheng)，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造成設備運(yun)行事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構中的主(zhu)動軸和從動軸牢固(gu)地聯(lian)接起(qi)來一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和扭(niu)矩的機械部件(jian)。有時也用以聯(lian)接軸與其他零(ling)件(jian)（如齒輪、帶(dai)輪等）。

靠背輪(lun)常由兩(liang)半合成，分別用鍵(jian)或(huo)緊配合等聯接(jie)(jie)，緊固(gu)在兩(liang)軸端，再通過(guo)某種方式將(jiang)兩(liang)半聯接(jie)(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯(lian)軸器可兼(jian)有補償(chang)兩軸之間(jian)由于(yu)制造(zao)安裝不精確、工作時的(de)變形或(huo)熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發生(sheng)的(de)偏(pian)(pian)移（包括軸向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)移、徑(jing)向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)(pian)移或(huo)綜合偏(pian)(pian)移）；以及(ji)緩和沖擊、吸振。
