萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力高，傳動效率(lv)優異，在現代工業領域被(bei)廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)剖分式叉(cha)頭布局(ju)，與SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器使用(yong)的場合相近，主(zhu)要運用(yong)在重載大型裝備領(ling)域，回轉直徑(jing)可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用整體式叉(cha)頭(tou)布局(ju)，主要用于軋鋼(gang)機(ji)械，起重運(yun)輸機(ji)械等其他重型裝備(bei)領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳(chuan)遞(di)距(ju)離(li)可達30m以上，是運(yun)用相(xiang)當(dang)廣(guang)泛的萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的(de)機泵(beng)(beng)在安裝過程(cheng)中都不可避免(mian)地要(yao)進行(xing)同(tong)軸(zhou)度的(de)調整，使對輪既同(tong)心又(you)平(ping)行(xing)，否則將影響機泵(beng)(beng)使用效率或造成設備運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機(ji)(ji)構(gou)中的主動軸(zhou)和(he)從(cong)動軸(zhou)牢固地(di)聯接(jie)起(qi)來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動和(he)扭矩的機(ji)(ji)械部件。有時(shi)也用以(yi)聯接(jie)軸(zhou)與其他零件（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半(ban)合成(cheng)，分別用鍵或緊配合等(deng)聯接，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通(tong)過某種方(fang)式將兩(liang)半(ban)聯接起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯(lian)軸(zhou)器可兼有(you)補(bu)償兩軸(zhou)之間由于制(zhi)造安裝不精(jing)確、工(gong)作時(shi)的(de)變形或熱(re)膨脹(zhang)等原(yuan)因(yin)所發(fa)生的(de)偏移(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向偏移(yi)、徑(jing)向偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或綜合(he)偏移(yi)）；以及緩和沖(chong)擊、吸振。
