SWP十字萬(wan)(wan)向聯軸器采用剖(pou)分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬(wan)(wan)向聯軸器使用的場(chang)合相(xiang)近(jin)，主要運用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑(jing)可(ke)達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)整(zheng)體式叉頭布(bu)局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)運(yun)輸(shu)機械等其他重(zhong)型裝備領(ling)域(yu)，回轉(zhuan)直(zhi)徑(jing)可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳遞距(ju)離可(ke)達(da)30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛的萬向聯軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行同軸度的調整，使對(dui)輪既同心(xin)又平行，否則將影(ying)響機泵使用效率或造成設備運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將不同(tong)機構中(zhong)的(de)主動(dong)軸和從動(dong)軸牢固地(di)聯接(jie)起來(lai)一(yi)同(tong)旋(xuan)轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩的(de)機械部件(jian)。有時也用(yong)以聯接(jie)軸與其他(ta)零件(jian)（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背(bei)輪常由兩(liang)半合成(cheng)，分別用鍵或(huo)緊(jin)配合等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某種方(fang)式(shi)將兩(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背輪聯(lian)軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之(zhi)間由(you)于制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形(xing)或熱膨脹(zhang)等原因(yin)所發生(sheng)的偏(pian)移（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移、徑向偏(pian)移、角偏(pian)移或綜合偏(pian)移）；以及(ji)緩和沖(chong)擊、吸振。
