SWP十字萬(wan)向聯軸器采(cai)用剖(pou)分式(shi)叉頭布(bu)局，與SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸器使用的場合相近，主要(yao)運用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器采用整體式叉頭布局，主(zhu)要用于軋(ya)鋼(gang)機(ji)械，起重運(yun)輸機(ji)械等其他(ta)重型裝備領(ling)域，回轉直徑可(ke)(ke)到1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳(chuan)遞(di)距離(li)可(ke)(ke)達(da)30m以上，是(shi)運(yun)用相當廣(guang)泛的萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安裝過程中都不(bu)可(ke)避免地要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度的調整，使對輪既同(tong)心(xin)又平行(xing)，否則將(jiang)影響機泵(beng)使用(yong)效率或造(zao)成設備運行(xing)事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不(bu)同(tong)機構中(zhong)的(de)主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢固地(di)聯接起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的(de)機械部(bu)件(jian)。有時(shi)也用以聯接軸(zhou)與其他(ta)零件(jian)（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合(he)成(cheng)，分(fen)別用(yong)鍵或緊配合(he)等(deng)聯接，緊固在(zai)兩(liang)軸(zhou)端，再通過(guo)某(mou)種方式將(jiang)兩(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼有補(bu)償兩軸(zhou)之(zhi)間由于(yu)制造安裝不精確、工作時(shi)的變形(xing)或(huo)熱(re)膨脹(zhang)等原因(yin)所發生的偏(pian)移(yi)（包(bao)括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或(huo)綜合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
