萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優異，在現代(dai)工(gong)業(ye)領域被廣泛采(cai)用。

SWP十(shi)(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器采用(yong)剖分式叉(cha)頭(tou)布局(ju)，與SWC十(shi)(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸器使用(yong)的場合相近，主(zhu)要運用(yong)在重載大(da)型(xing)裝備(bei)領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑(jing)可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用(yong)整體式(shi)叉頭布(bu)局，主(zhu)要用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)(ji)械(xie)，起重運(yun)輸機(ji)(ji)械(xie)等其(qi)他重型裝(zhuang)備領域，回(hui)轉(zhuan)直(zhi)徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳(chuan)遞(di)距離可(ke)達30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛的(de)萬向聯(lian)軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接(jie)的(de)機(ji)泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地(di)要(yao)進行同軸度的(de)調整(zheng)，使(shi)對輪(lun)既(ji)同心又平行，否(fou)則將(jiang)影響機(ji)泵使(shi)用效率或造成設備運(yun)行事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將不同(tong)機(ji)構中的主(zhu)動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢(lao)固地(di)聯接起來(lai)一同(tong)旋轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動和扭矩的機(ji)械部(bu)件。有時也用(yong)以聯接軸(zhou)與其(qi)他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半(ban)合成，分別用鍵或緊配(pei)合等聯接(jie)，緊固(gu)在(zai)兩(liang)軸端，再(zai)通過某(mou)種方式將兩(liang)半(ban)聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制造(zao)安(an)裝(zhuang)不(bu)精(jing)確、工作時(shi)的(de)變形或(huo)熱膨脹等(deng)原因所發(fa)生的(de)偏移（包括軸向偏移、徑(jing)向偏移、角(jiao)偏移或(huo)綜合偏移）；以及緩和(he)沖(chong)擊、吸振。
