The plum-shaped flexible coupling is composed of two semi-couplings with convex claws and a plum-shaped flexible non-metallic element whose hardness can be adjusted. By embedding the plum-shaped flexible element into the two semi-couplings to realize the connection, plum couplings has the characteristics of compensating the relative displacement of the two axes, reducing vibration and buffering, simple structure and easy maintenance without lubrication.

輪胎式聯軸器缺點是(shi)承(cheng)載(zai)能力(li)(li)(li)(li)不高(gao)、外形尺寸(cun)較大(da),隨著兩軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)相對(dui)扭轉角的(de)增加(jia)使輪胎外形扭歪,軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向尺寸(cun)略有減小,將在兩軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)上產(chan)生(sheng)較大(da)的(de)附(fu)加(jia)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向力(li)(li)(li)(li),使軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)承(cheng)負載(zai)加(jia)大(da)而降低壽命。輪胎聯(lian)(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)高(gao)速運(yun)轉時,輪胎外緣由于離(li)心力(li)(li)(li)(li)的(de)作用而向外擴(kuo)張,將進一(yi)步(bu)增大(da)附(fu)加(jia)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向力(li)(li)(li)(li)。為此,在安裝聯(lian)(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)時應采取措施,使輪胎中的(de)應力(li)(li)(li)(li)方(fang)向與工(gong)作時產(chan)生(sheng)的(de)應力(li)(li)(li)(li)方(fang)向相反,以抵消部分附(fu)加(jia)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)向力(li)(li)(li)(li),達(da)到(dao)改善聯(lian)(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)和(he)兩軸(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)承(cheng)的(de)工(gong)和(he)條件。
輪(lun)胎式聯軸器由于(yu)種(zhong)(zhong)種(zhong)(zhong)原因(yin)使其(qi)質(zhi)心或(huo)慣(guan)性主軸與其(qi)加轉(zhuan)(zhuan)(zhuan)軸線不(bu)(bu)重合,在運轉(zhuan)(zhuan)(zhuan)時將產(chan)生不(bu)(bu)平(ping)衡離心慣(guan)性力(li)、離心慣(guan)性力(li)偶(ou)和動撓(nao)度(振型)的(de)現(xian)(xian)象(xiang)(xiang),稱為(wei)轉(zhuan)(zhuan)(zhuan)子的(de)不(bu)(bu)平(ping)衡現(xian)(xian)象(xiang)(xiang),這種(zhong)(zhong)不(bu)(bu)平(ping)衡現(xian)(xian)象(xiang)(xiang)必然引起(qi)軸系的(de)振動,從而(er)(er)影響機(ji)器的(de)正常(chang)工作和使用壽(shou)命(ming),因(yin)而(er)(er)對其(qi)必須(xu)加以重視。
