萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承(cheng)載能力高，傳動效率(lv)優(you)異，在(zai)現代工業領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字(zi)(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)器采(cai)用(yong)剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與SWC十字(zi)(zi)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)(zhou)器使(shi)用(yong)的場合相近，主(zhu)要運用(yong)在重載(zai)大型裝備(bei)領域，回轉直(zhi)徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字萬向聯軸器(qi)采用(yong)整體式叉頭(tou)布(bu)局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)械，起重(zhong)運輸機(ji)械等其(qi)他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛的萬向聯軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度的(de)調整，使對輪既同(tong)心(xin)又(you)平(ping)行(xing)，否則將影響機泵使用效率或(huo)造成(cheng)設備運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)(lai)將不同機構中(zhong)的主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地聯接起(qi)來(lai)(lai)一同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動(dong)和扭矩(ju)的機械部件。有時也用以聯接軸(zhou)與(yu)其他零件（如齒輪(lun)、帶(dai)輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪(lun)常由(you)兩(liang)半合(he)成，分別用鍵或緊配合(he)等(deng)聯接(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過(guo)某種(zhong)方式將兩(liang)半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器(qi)可兼有補償(chang)兩軸之間(jian)由于制造(zao)安裝(zhuang)不精確(que)、工作時的變形或熱膨脹(zhang)等原因所(suo)發生的偏移(yi)（包(bao)括軸向偏移(yi)、徑(jing)向偏移(yi)、角(jiao)偏移(yi)或綜合偏移(yi)）；以(yi)及緩和沖擊、吸(xi)振。
