萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優異，在(zai)現代工業領域被(bei)廣泛采用。

SWP十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯軸器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字(zi)萬向(xiang)聯軸器使用的(de)場合相近，主(zhu)要運用在(zai)重載大型(xing)裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字萬向聯(lian)軸器采用整體(ti)式叉頭(tou)布局，主要用于(yu)軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)運(yun)輸機械等其他重(zhong)型裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離(li)可(ke)達30m以上，是運(yun)用相當廣泛(fan)的萬向聯(lian)軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機泵在安裝(zhuang)過程中都不可避免地(di)要進(jin)行(xing)同軸度的(de)調整，使(shi)對輪既同心又平行(xing)，否則將影響機泵使(shi)用效(xiao)率或造成設備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不(bu)同(tong)機構中的(de)主動軸和從(cong)動軸牢固(gu)地聯接起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的(de)機械部件。有(you)時也用以(yi)聯接軸與(yu)其他零件（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半(ban)合(he)成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊配合(he)等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)軸端(duan)，再通過某種方式將兩(liang)半(ban)聯接(jie)起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸器可(ke)兼(jian)有補償兩軸之(zhi)間由于制造安裝不精確、工(gong)作時的變形(xing)或熱膨脹等原因所發生(sheng)的偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)（包括軸向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、角(jiao)偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
