萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力(li)高，傳動效率優異(yi)，在(zai)現代(dai)工業領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭布局(ju)，與SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器使(shi)用(yong)的(de)場合相近，主要運用(yong)在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直(zhi)徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采用(yong)整體式叉頭布(bu)局，主(zhu)要(yao)用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重運(yun)輸機械等其(qi)他(ta)重型裝(zhuang)備(bei)領(ling)域，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭(niu)矩傳遞(di)距(ju)離可(ke)達30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當(dang)廣泛(fan)的(de)萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在(zai)安裝過(guo)程中都不可避免地要進行同(tong)軸度(du)的調整，使對輪既同(tong)心又平(ping)行，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造成設備(bei)運行事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同(tong)機(ji)構(gou)中的主動軸(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)牢(lao)固(gu)地聯(lian)接(jie)起來一(yi)同(tong)旋轉，并傳(chuan)遞運動和扭矩的機(ji)械部(bu)件。有時也(ye)用(yong)以聯(lian)接(jie)軸(zhou)與(yu)其他(ta)零件（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等(deng)）。

靠背輪(lun)常由兩半合成(cheng)，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配合等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩軸端(duan)，再通過某種方式將兩半聯接起來。

靠背(bei)輪聯(lian)軸器可兼有補(bu)償兩(liang)軸之(zhi)間由于制造安裝不(bu)精確、工(gong)作時(shi)的(de)變形或熱膨脹等原因所發生的(de)偏(pian)移（包括(kuo)軸向偏(pian)移、徑(jing)向偏(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)移或綜合偏(pian)移）；以及緩(huan)和沖擊、吸振。
