萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高(gao)，傳動效(xiao)率優(you)異，在現代工(gong)業領(ling)域被廣泛(fan)采用。

SWP十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)采用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器(qi)使用的場合(he)相近，主要運(yun)用在(zai)重載大型裝備領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字(zi)萬向聯軸器(qi)采用(yong)整體(ti)式叉頭布局，主要(yao)用(yong)于(yu)軋鋼機械(xie)，起重(zhong)運輸機械(xie)等其他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回(hui)轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當(dang)廣(guang)泛的(de)萬向聯軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接的(de)機泵在安裝過程中(zhong)都不可(ke)避(bi)免地要進行(xing)同(tong)軸(zhou)度的(de)調(diao)整，使(shi)對(dui)輪既同(tong)心(xin)又平行(xing)，否則將影(ying)響機泵使(shi)用(yong)效率或造成設備運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來(lai)將不(bu)同機構中(zhong)的主動(dong)軸(zhou)和從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地聯接(jie)(jie)起來(lai)一同旋轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭(niu)矩的機械部件。有時也用(yong)以聯接(jie)(jie)軸(zhou)與其他零(ling)件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背(bei)輪常由(you)兩半合成，分別用鍵(jian)或緊(jin)配合等聯接(jie)，緊(jin)固(gu)在兩軸端，再通(tong)過某種方式(shi)將(jiang)兩半聯接(jie)起來(lai)。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)(zhou)之間由于(yu)制造安裝(zhuang)不精(jing)確、工作時的(de)變形或熱膨脹等(deng)原(yuan)因(yin)所發(fa)生的(de)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)（包括軸(zhou)(zhou)向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)或綜合(he)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)）；以及(ji)緩和沖擊、吸振。
