萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優異，在(zai)現(xian)代工業領(ling)域被廣泛采用(yong)。

SWP十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器采(cai)用剖分(fen)式叉頭布(bu)局，與SWC十字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)器使用的場合(he)相(xiang)近(jin)，主要運用在重載大型裝備領域，回(hui)轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)整體(ti)式叉(cha)頭布局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等(deng)其他重型(xing)裝備領域(yu)，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛的(de)萬(wan)向(xiang)聯軸(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機(ji)泵在安(an)裝(zhuang)過程中都不(bu)可避(bi)免地要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度的調整，使(shi)對(dui)輪既同(tong)心又(you)平行(xing)，否則將影響(xiang)機(ji)泵使(shi)用效率(lv)或造成設(she)備(bei)運行(xing)事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)(yong)來(lai)將不(bu)同機構(gou)中的主動軸(zhou)和(he)從動軸(zhou)牢固地聯(lian)接起來(lai)一同旋轉，并傳(chuan)遞運動和(he)扭矩(ju)的機械部件(jian)。有(you)時也用(yong)(yong)以聯(lian)接軸(zhou)與其(qi)他零件(jian)（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由(you)兩半(ban)合成，分別用鍵或緊配(pei)合等聯接，緊固在兩軸端，再(zai)通過某(mou)種方式將兩半(ban)聯接起來。

靠背輪聯軸(zhou)器可兼有(you)補(bu)償兩(liang)軸(zhou)之間由(you)于制造(zao)安裝不(bu)精(jing)確、工作時的變(bian)形或熱膨脹等原(yuan)因(yin)所發生(sheng)的偏(pian)移(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或綜合(he)偏(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和沖(chong)擊、吸振。
