萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能(neng)力高，傳(chuan)動效率優異，在現代工業領(ling)域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)(lian)軸器(qi)采用剖分(fen)式叉頭布(bu)局(ju)，與SWC十字萬(wan)向(xiang)聯(lian)(lian)軸器(qi)使用的場合相近，主要運用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器采用(yong)整體式叉頭布局，主要用(yong)于(yu)軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等其(qi)他重型裝備領(ling)域，回(hui)轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用(yong)相當廣泛(fan)的萬(wan)向聯軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機(ji)泵在(zai)安裝過程(cheng)中都不可避(bi)免地要進(jin)行(xing)同(tong)(tong)軸度的調整，使(shi)對輪既同(tong)(tong)心又平行(xing)，否(fou)則將影響機(ji)泵使(shi)用(yong)效率或造(zao)成設(she)備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構中(zhong)的主(zhu)動軸和(he)(he)從(cong)動軸牢固地聯(lian)(lian)接起來一同旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動和(he)(he)扭矩的機械部件(jian)。有時也用以聯(lian)(lian)接軸與其他零件(jian)（如齒輪、帶(dai)輪等）。

靠背(bei)輪常(chang)由兩半(ban)合成，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配合等聯(lian)接，緊(jin)固在兩軸(zhou)端，再通過(guo)某種方(fang)式將兩半(ban)聯(lian)接起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸(zhou)器(qi)可兼有補償兩(liang)軸(zhou)之間由于(yu)制造(zao)安(an)裝不精確(que)、工作時(shi)的(de)變(bian)形或熱膨脹(zhang)等原因(yin)所(suo)發生(sheng)的(de)偏移（包括軸(zhou)向偏移、徑(jing)向偏移、角偏移或綜(zong)合(he)偏移）；以及緩(huan)和沖(chong)擊(ji)、吸振。
