彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊湊，傳遞扭(niu)矩大，使(shi)用壽命長(chang)，免維護，耐(nai)高(gao)溫，耐(nai)酸堿(jian)防(fang)腐(fu)蝕(shi)，適用于高(gao)溫高(gao)速及有腐(fu)蝕(shi)工況環(huan)境的軸系傳動(dong)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將(jiang)不同機構中的主動(dong)軸和從動(dong)軸牢固地聯接起來(lai)一同旋(xuan)轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩(ju)的機械部件。有時也用以聯接軸與(yu)其他零件（如(ru)齒輪、帶(dai)輪等）。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪常由兩半合(he)成，分別用鍵或緊(jin)配合(he)等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩軸端(duan)，再(zai)通過某種方式將(jiang)兩半聯接起來。

靠背輪聯軸器(qi)可兼有(you)補償兩軸之間由于制造安裝不精確、工作(zuo)時的變形或(huo)熱膨脹等(deng)原因所發(fa)生的偏移(yi)(yi)（包括(kuo)軸向偏移(yi)(yi)、徑向偏移(yi)(yi)、角偏移(yi)(yi)或(huo)綜(zong)合偏移(yi)(yi)）；以及(ji)緩和沖擊(ji)、吸振。

靠背輪為(wei)俗稱，專業(ye)叫法為(wei)聯軸器以及法蘭，用于機械設備的連接(jie)。
