SWP十字萬向聯軸器(qi)采用剖分式(shi)叉頭布局，與(yu)SWC十字萬向聯軸器(qi)使用的場(chang)合相近(jin)，主(zhu)要運(yun)用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字(zi)萬向(xiang)(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器采(cai)用(yong)(yong)整體式叉頭布局(ju)，主要用(yong)(yong)于軋鋼機械，起重(zhong)運(yun)輸機械等其他重(zhong)型裝(zhuang)備(bei)領(ling)域(yu)，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞(di)距離可達30m以(yi)上，是(shi)運(yun)用(yong)(yong)相(xiang)當廣泛的萬向(xiang)(xiang)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的(de)機泵在安裝過(guo)程中都不可避免地要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度(du)的(de)調(diao)整(zheng)，使對(dui)輪既(ji)同(tong)心又平(ping)行(xing)，否則將影響(xiang)機泵使用效率或造(zao)成設備運行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構(gou)中的(de)(de)主動(dong)軸(zhou)和(he)從動(dong)軸(zhou)牢固地聯接起來一(yi)同旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和(he)扭(niu)矩(ju)的(de)(de)機械部件。有時也用以聯接軸(zhou)與(yu)其(qi)他零件（如(ru)齒(chi)輪(lun)、帶(dai)輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩半合成，分別用鍵(jian)或緊配合等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩軸端(duan)，再通過(guo)某種方(fang)式將兩半聯接(jie)起來(lai)。

靠(kao)背輪聯(lian)軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩(liang)軸(zhou)之間由于制造安裝(zhuang)不精確、工作時(shi)的變形(xing)或熱膨脹等原因(yin)所發生的偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、徑(jing)向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)或綜合偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)）；以(yi)及(ji)緩和沖(chong)擊、吸振。
