萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高(gao)，傳動效率優異(yi)，在現代工業領域(yu)被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器(qi)采(cai)用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十(shi)字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器(qi)使(shi)用的場合相近，主要運用在重(zhong)載大(da)型(xing)裝(zhuang)備領(ling)域，回轉直徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十(shi)字(zi)萬向聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)采用(yong)整體式叉頭布局(ju)，主(zhu)要用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)械，起重(zhong)運(yun)輸機(ji)械等(deng)其他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可(ke)達30m以上，是運(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛(fan)的萬向聯軸(zhou)(zhou)器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免(mian)地要進(jin)行(xing)同(tong)軸度的調整，使對輪既(ji)同(tong)心(xin)又平行(xing)，否則將(jiang)影(ying)響機泵使用(yong)效率或造成(cheng)設備運(yun)行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同(tong)機構中的主動軸(zhou)(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)(zhou)牢固地聯(lian)接起來一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和扭矩(ju)的機械部件。有時也用以(yi)聯(lian)接軸(zhou)(zhou)與其他(ta)零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪(lun)常由兩(liang)半合成，分別用鍵(jian)或緊(jin)配合等聯接，緊(jin)固在兩(liang)軸端，再通(tong)過(guo)某種(zhong)方式將兩(liang)半聯接起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可(ke)兼有補(bu)償兩軸之間由于(yu)制造安裝不精確、工作時(shi)的變形(xing)或熱(re)膨(peng)脹(zhang)等原因(yin)所發(fa)生的偏移（包括軸向偏移、徑(jing)向偏移、角偏移或綜合偏移）；以及緩和沖擊、吸(xi)振。
