萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優異，在現代(dai)工業領域(yu)被廣泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭布局(ju)，與(yu)SWC十(shi)字萬向(xiang)聯(lian)軸器使用(yong)的場合相近，主要運用(yong)在重載大(da)型裝備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器采用整體式(shi)叉(cha)頭布(bu)局(ju)，主要(yao)用于軋(ya)鋼機(ji)械，起重運輸機(ji)械等其他重型裝備(bei)領域，回轉直(zhi)徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞(di)距離(li)可達30m以上，是運用相(xiang)當廣泛的萬(wan)向聯(lian)軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行同軸度(du)的調整(zheng)，使(shi)對輪既(ji)同心又(you)平行，否則(ze)將影響(xiang)機泵使(shi)用效率或造成設備(bei)運行事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構(gou)中的主動軸和(he)從動軸牢固地聯接(jie)起來一同旋轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動和(he)扭矩的機械部件(jian)。有時(shi)也用以聯接(jie)軸與其他零件(jian)（如(ru)齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩半(ban)(ban)合成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊配合等聯接，緊固在兩軸端，再通過某(mou)種方式將(jiang)兩半(ban)(ban)聯接起來。

靠背輪聯(lian)軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之間由(you)于(yu)制造(zao)安(an)裝(zhuang)不精確、工(gong)作時的變形或熱(re)膨脹(zhang)等原(yuan)因所(suo)發生的偏(pian)移(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)或綜(zong)合偏(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
