SWC十字(zi)萬(wan)(wan)向(xiang)(xiang)聯軸器采用(yong)整體(ti)式叉頭(tou)布局，主(zhu)要(yao)用(yong)于(yu)軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等(deng)其(qi)他(ta)重型裝備(bei)領域(yu)，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上(shang)，是運用(yong)相當(dang)廣泛(fan)的萬(wan)(wan)向(xiang)(xiang)聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度(du)的調整，使(shi)對輪既同(tong)心又平行(xing)，否則將(jiang)影響機泵(beng)使(shi)用(yong)效率或造成設備(bei)運行(xing)事故。

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將不同(tong)機構(gou)中的主動(dong)軸和從動(dong)軸牢固地(di)聯接起來(lai)一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞運動(dong)和扭矩的機械(xie)部件。有時也用以聯接軸與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背(bei)輪常由兩半合(he)(he)成，分別用鍵或緊配合(he)(he)等(deng)聯接，緊固在兩軸端，再通過(guo)某(mou)種方式將兩半聯接起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制造安裝(zhuang)不(bu)精(jing)確、工(gong)作時的變形或熱膨(peng)脹(zhang)等原因所(suo)發(fa)生的偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)（包括軸向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)、角(jiao)偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)或綜合偏(pian)(pian)移(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
