萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力(li)高，傳動(dong)效率優異，在現代工業(ye)領域被廣泛采(cai)用。

SWP十字萬向(xiang)聯軸器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬向(xiang)聯軸器使用的場(chang)合相近，主要運用在重(zhong)載大型裝(zhuang)備領域，回轉(zhuan)直(zhi)徑可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸器采用(yong)整體式叉頭布局(ju)，主要用(yong)于(yu)軋鋼機械，起重運(yun)(yun)輸機械等其(qi)他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可(ke)達(da)30m以上，是(shi)運(yun)(yun)用(yong)相當廣泛的萬向聯軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵(beng)在安裝過程中都不可避免(mian)地要(yao)進行同(tong)軸度(du)的調(diao)整，使(shi)對(dui)輪既同(tong)心又平行，否則將(jiang)影響機泵(beng)使(shi)用效率或(huo)造成(cheng)設備(bei)運行事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)(yong)來(lai)將不同機構中的主(zhu)動軸和從動軸牢固地聯接起(qi)來(lai)一(yi)同旋轉，并傳(chuan)遞運(yun)動和扭矩的機械部件。有(you)時也用(yong)(yong)以(yi)聯接軸與其他零(ling)件（如齒輪(lun)、帶(dai)輪(lun)等）。
