萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動(dong)效率優異，在現代工業領域被廣泛(fan)采(cai)用。

SWP十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器(qi)采用剖分(fen)式叉(cha)頭布局，與SWC十字(zi)萬(wan)向聯軸器(qi)使用的場合相近，主要運用在重(zhong)載大型裝備(bei)領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可(ke)達1200mm。

SWC十字萬(wan)向聯軸器(qi)采用(yong)整(zheng)體式叉頭布局，主要用(yong)于軋(ya)鋼機械，起重(zhong)運輸機械等其(qi)他重(zhong)型裝備領域，回轉(zhuan)直徑可(ke)到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距(ju)離可(ke)達30m以(yi)上，是運用(yong)相(xiang)當廣泛的(de)萬(wan)向聯軸器(qi)。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接(jie)的機泵在安裝過(guo)程中(zhong)都不可避(bi)免地要進行(xing)同(tong)軸度的調整(zheng)，使對輪既同(tong)心(xin)又(you)平行(xing)，否則(ze)將影(ying)響機泵使用(yong)效(xiao)率(lv)或造(zao)成設備運(yun)行(xing)事故(gu)。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將不同機構(gou)中的(de)主(zhu)動軸和(he)從動軸牢(lao)固地聯接起來一同旋轉，并(bing)傳遞運(yun)動和(he)扭矩的(de)機械(xie)部件。有時也用(yong)以(yi)聯接軸與(yu)其(qi)他零件（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常由兩(liang)半合成，分(fen)別(bie)用鍵(jian)或緊(jin)配(pei)合等聯(lian)接，緊(jin)固在(zai)兩(liang)軸端，再通(tong)過(guo)某種方式將兩(liang)半聯(lian)接起來。

靠(kao)背(bei)輪聯軸器(qi)可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制造安裝不精(jing)確、工作時的(de)變形或熱膨脹等(deng)原因(yin)所發(fa)生的(de)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)（包括軸向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)、角(jiao)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)或綜(zong)合偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。
