彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊湊，傳遞扭矩(ju)大，使(shi)用壽命長，免維(wei)護，耐高溫，耐酸堿防腐(fu)蝕，適用于高溫高速及有腐(fu)蝕工(gong)況(kuang)環境的軸系傳動。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同機構中的(de)主(zhu)動軸(zhou)(zhou)和從(cong)動軸(zhou)(zhou)牢(lao)固地聯(lian)接起來一(yi)同旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和扭矩的(de)機械部(bu)件。有時也用以聯(lian)接軸(zhou)(zhou)與(yu)其他零(ling)件（如齒(chi)輪、帶輪等）。

靠(kao)背輪常由兩半(ban)合(he)成，分別用鍵或緊配合(he)等聯(lian)接(jie)，緊固在兩軸端，再通過某種方式將(jiang)兩半(ban)聯(lian)接(jie)起來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補(bu)償兩(liang)軸之(zhi)間由于制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形或(huo)熱膨脹等原(yuan)因(yin)所發(fa)生(sheng)的偏(pian)移（包括軸向(xiang)偏(pian)移、徑向(xiang)偏(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)移或(huo)綜合偏(pian)移）；以(yi)及(ji)緩和沖擊、吸振(zhen)。
