靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)(yong)來(lai)將(jiang)不同機(ji)構中的(de)主動軸(zhou)(zhou)和從動軸(zhou)(zhou)牢固地聯(lian)接起來(lai)一同旋轉，并傳遞運(yun)動和扭矩(ju)的(de)機(ji)械部件。有時也(ye)用(yong)(yong)以聯(lian)接軸(zhou)(zhou)與其(qi)他(ta)零件（如齒輪、帶輪等(deng)）。

靠背(bei)輪常(chang)由兩(liang)(liang)半合(he)成，分別用鍵或(huo)緊(jin)配合(he)等聯(lian)接，緊(jin)固(gu)在兩(liang)(liang)軸端，再通過某種方式將兩(liang)(liang)半聯(lian)接起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之間(jian)由于(yu)制造安(an)裝不精確、工作時的(de)變形或(huo)熱膨脹(zhang)等(deng)原因所發(fa)生的(de)偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)、徑向偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)、角偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)或(huo)綜合偏(pian)移(yi)(yi)(yi)）；以及緩(huan)和(he)沖擊、吸(xi)振。

靠(kao)背輪為俗稱，專業(ye)叫(jiao)法(fa)為聯軸器以及法(fa)蘭，用(yong)于機械設備的連接。
