萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效(xiao)率優(you)異，在現代工業領域被廣(guang)泛采用。

SWP十(shi)字萬向(xiang)聯軸器采用(yong)剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十(shi)字萬向(xiang)聯軸器使用(yong)的場合相近，主要運用(yong)在重載大型裝備(bei)領域，回轉直徑可達(da)1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯(lian)軸器采用(yong)整體式叉(cha)頭布局，主要用(yong)于軋鋼機(ji)械，起重運輸(shu)機(ji)械等其他重型(xing)裝備(bei)領域(yu)，回轉直徑(jing)可到1600mm，扭矩(ju)傳遞距離可達(da)30m以上，是運用(yong)相(xiang)當(dang)廣(guang)泛(fan)的萬向聯(lian)軸器。

萬向節聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯(lian)接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行(xing)同軸(zhou)度的調整，使(shi)對(dui)輪既同心又(you)平行(xing)，否(fou)則(ze)將影響機泵使(shi)用效率或造成設備運行(xing)事(shi)故。

靠背輪聯軸器用(yong)來將(jiang)不同機構中的主(zhu)動(dong)軸和(he)從(cong)動(dong)軸牢固地(di)聯接起來一同旋轉(zhuan)，并傳遞運動(dong)和(he)扭矩(ju)的機械(xie)部(bu)件。有(you)時也用(yong)以聯接軸與其(qi)他零件（如齒輪(lun)、帶輪(lun)等）。

靠背輪常(chang)由兩半(ban)(ban)合成，分別(bie)用鍵或緊配合等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩軸端(duan)，再通過某種(zhong)方式將兩半(ban)(ban)聯接(jie)起(qi)來。

靠背輪聯軸器可兼有補償兩軸之(zhi)間由于制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形或(huo)(huo)熱膨脹等原因所發生(sheng)的偏移(yi)（包(bao)括軸向(xiang)偏移(yi)、徑向(xiang)偏移(yi)、角偏移(yi)或(huo)(huo)綜合偏移(yi)）；以及(ji)緩和沖擊、吸振。
