彈性膜片聯軸器在傳遞扭矩的同時通過彈性膜片的的變形來補償軸向和角向的位移，是一種高性能的金屬彈性撓性聯軸器。彈性聯軸器結構緊湊，傳(chuan)遞扭矩大，使用壽命長，免維護，耐高溫，耐酸堿防腐(fu)蝕，適用于高溫高速及有腐(fu)蝕工況環境(jing)的(de)軸系傳(chuan)動(dong)。

靠背輪聯軸器用來將不同(tong)(tong)機(ji)構中的(de)(de)主(zhu)動軸和從動軸牢(lao)固地聯接起來一(yi)同(tong)(tong)旋(xuan)轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的(de)(de)機(ji)械部件。有(you)時也用以(yi)聯接軸與(yu)其他(ta)零件（如齒輪(lun)(lun)、帶(dai)輪(lun)(lun)等(deng)）。

靠(kao)背輪常(chang)由兩(liang)半合(he)(he)成，分別用鍵(jian)或(huo)緊配合(he)(he)等聯接(jie)，緊固在兩(liang)軸端，再通過某種方式將兩(liang)半聯接(jie)起來。

靠背輪(lun)聯(lian)軸(zhou)器可兼有補償兩軸(zhou)之間由于制造安裝不(bu)精(jing)確(que)、工作時的變形或熱膨脹等原因所發(fa)生的偏(pian)移（包括軸(zhou)向偏(pian)移、徑向偏(pian)移、角偏(pian)移或綜(zong)合偏(pian)移）；以及緩和沖擊(ji)、吸振。

靠背(bei)輪為俗(su)稱，專業叫法(fa)為聯軸器以及法(fa)蘭，用于機械設備的(de)連接。
