The plum-shaped flexible coupling is composed of two semi-couplings with convex claws and a plum-shaped flexible non-metallic element whose hardness can be adjusted. By embedding the plum-shaped flexible element into the two semi-couplings to realize the connection, plum couplings has the characteristics of compensating the relative displacement of the two axes, reducing vibration and buffering, simple structure and easy maintenance without lubrication.

靠背輪聯軸器用來(lai)將不同(tong)機(ji)構(gou)中(zhong)的(de)主動軸和(he)從動軸牢(lao)固地聯接(jie)起(qi)來(lai)一同(tong)旋轉，并傳遞(di)運動和(he)扭(niu)矩的(de)機(ji)械部件。有時也(ye)用以聯接(jie)軸與(yu)其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由(you)兩半合(he)成，分別用鍵或(huo)緊配合(he)等(deng)聯(lian)接，緊固在兩軸端(duan)，再通(tong)過某(mou)種方式將(jiang)兩半聯(lian)接起來。

靠(kao)背輪聯軸器可兼有補(bu)償兩軸之間(jian)由于制(zhi)造安裝不精確、工作時的變形或(huo)熱膨(peng)脹等原因所發(fa)生的偏(pian)移（包括軸向偏(pian)移、徑向偏(pian)移、角(jiao)偏(pian)移或(huo)綜合偏(pian)移）；以及(ji)緩(huan)和(he)沖擊(ji)、吸振。

The pin gear coupling is designed with non-metallic flexible pin, two toothed semi-couplings and a toothed sleeve ring with an outer ring. It uses non-metallic flexible deformation to transfer torque and cushion shock and compensate angular displacement.
