蛇簧聯軸器其主要結構是由兩個半聯軸節，兩個半外罩，兩個密封圈及蛇形彈簧片組成。它是靠蛇簧嵌入兩半聯軸節的齒槽內來傳遞扭矩，聯軸器以蛇形彈簧片嵌入兩個半聯軸節的齒槽內，來實現主動軸與從動軸的鏈接。蛇型彈簧聯軸器運轉時(shi)，是靠主動(dong)端齒(chi)面對(dui)蛇簧的(de)軸向作用(yong)力帶動(dong)從動(dong)端，來(lai)傳遞(di)扭矩，如此在(zai)很大(da)程度(du)上避免了共振現象發(fa)生(sheng)，且簧片在(zai)傳遞(di)扭矩時(shi)所產生(sheng)的(de)彈性變量，使(shi)機(ji)械系統能獲得較好的(de)減(jian)振效果，其平均減(jian)振率達(da)36%以上。
